Currently, mobility data exists in multiple formats and sources, but it is fragmented across government agencies, operators, and private providers. This situation hinders its reuse and limits its actual impact.
DS4MM addresses this challenge by creating a model-oriented Mobility Data Space that allows existing data to be combined in a secure, interoperable, and governed manner.
DS4MM is neither a repository nor a centralized database. It acts as a trusted intermediary, establishing clear rules so that data can generate value without losing control or ownership.
A European project with a strategic vision
DS4MM is part of the European Data Strategy and the European Union’s Strategy for Sustainable and Smart Mobility. Its aim is to contribute to more efficient, coordinated, and evidence-based mobility by strengthening cooperation between regions and sectors.
